[FT][DS][SG] FB transports?

Has anyone done any work on how many troops you can fit in FB-designed
ships, now that the mass calcs have all changed and More Thrust's
information isn't usable?

I seem to recall a bunch of stuff being discussed on the list back when
FB1 came out, but didn't follow or save any of it...

The MT rules always seemed to me to require too much mass per
trooper/vehicle. I tried to design a number of assault transports, and
it
was (as I recall) very, very hard to get a reasonably protected ship to
carry much beyond a platoon or two, unless the ship was SDN sized...
Bulk
carriers were OK, but you couldn't get a good armed assault transport
out
of the system.
