Subject: [GZG-ECC] EARLY Game Announcement

An EARLY announcement.

I plan to run a version of the Cygnus Fleet Proving Exercise at GZG-ECC
This is a bring-your-own-fleet game.
Fleet will be limited to 2500 points
For every ship of mass 301+, you need 2 ships of 201-300.
For every ship of mass 201-300, you need 2 ships of 101-200.
For every ship of mass 101-200, you need 2 ships of 04-100.
Ships larger than 400 follow the same pattern.
All ships must be able to arrive by FTL (battle riders may be used, but
the
battle taxi must stay as a valid target and must be counted in the cost
of
the force).
Open genre (except cloaking).
Human, Kra'Vak, Phalon, Sa'Vasku may be used. SV may have some
limitations
placed on them (TBD).
Constructions and play rules will follow rules throught Fleet Book 2.
Fighter morale and endurance will be used.
Vector Movement will be used.

Players should bring thier own miniatures of approximately the correct
size
(cruiser size for a cruiser, larger for capital, smaller for escort).
Painted miniatures are encouraged (so what if you can only paint by
dropping
the mini in the paint can, its painted!).

Full rules to be posted later. I have made some changes that shoud speed
play from the last BYOF game that I ran.

Don't say I didn't give you enough time! ;-)
