I've been buyuing tons of these figures as well for the past few
years--I
mount mine on pennies then paint over the base and flock.  Looks okay,
and
the weight of the penny helps keep them upright.

One thing I've always wondered -- how would you base those figures
for gaming? The molded-on bases have weird shapes in different colors.

Just spent $15US on the earlier, smaller troops. At $.97US a pack, and
about 9 per pack, plenty of both imperial and rebels, plus Ewoks, Tusken
Raiders, and Jawas for variety! As for liquidating, I figured it was
TRU, not Galoob.

Ok, more than I'll ever use; people pretty much expect that of me. ;->=
