Mine are straight metallic green with no fancy flares or add-on
colorations.

My Phalons are a light purple with a tan shell, said shell sporting
Amerind designs of various sorts (originally these were random designs,
but a relatively recent trip to western North Carolina allowed me to
pick up a book on Cherokee stuff and now the designs will have meaning
:)
