I had a hell of a time explaining this to my mitarbeiters (colleagues)
in Germany back in 89. That was before NDR started screening Monty
Python. About 1992 they all started to get my occasional comments
in the code along the lines of "Kill Assessment: Target is an Ex-Parrot"
etc.

"Mein Luftwagen ist mit aale gevollt" (if I have it right) was just met
with
blank stares at this Verucht (Crazy) Australien.
