WHich one, the original or latest game? The original is highly
recommended.
Hidden plotting and movement for the bug forces. EXCellent hive
construction
rules.	 Three types of bugs, soldiers, workers and HW platforms. MI has
all
the standard types plus engineers, psychics and dogs. You get a platoon
organization pad where you mark down what guys are in your platoon and
what
they're carrying. units are individual troopers (with counters for
nukes, demos
nerve gas etc etc), rules for drops and retrieval ships. There are
levels of
casualties and an important part of the game is lugging your wounded out
of
trouble. There are subterranean rules. Uses an FP odds based combat
results
table.

Each turn is a few minutes each hex is a kilometer (or mile) You can
pick this
game up in the bargain bin f lots of hobby stores. Coverts well to
minis.

AGAIN, I AM TALKING ABOUT THE ORIGINAL GAME NOT THE ONE THAT CAME OUT
LAST YEAR
OR TWO.
