p22, repeated on 25 :
"Stinger Beam die rolls are read exactly as for standard beam weapons,
ie:
against an unscreened target, 1-3 no effect, 4-5 = 1DP; 6 = 2DP +
re-roll.
Human and Su'Vasku screens, and Phalon vapour shrouds affect all beam
shots
in the standard way."

p35:
"Pulser fire dice are read as for standard beam weapon fire, ie: 1-3 no
effect, 4-5 = 1DP; 6 = 2DP + re-roll.
Screens ARE effective against pulser fire as per the standard rules, as
are
the Phalons own vapour shrouds (see below)"

So far well and good.

p45:
"Level-1 screens negate rolls of 4; level-2 screens and vapour shrouds
negate rolls of 4 or 5."

This should, I believe, read:
"Level-1 screens negate rolls of 4; level-2 screens and vapour shrouds
negate rolls of 4 or 5,
and reduce rolls of 6 to 1DP + re-roll."

Reasoning: apart from consistency with the rest of the wording, it
doesn't
make a rodent's
posterior either way. But having an exception with no particular value
like
this would be
untidy.

QUESTION: Can ships make 2 different direction turns in the same - er -
turn
in cinematic
movement? This doesn't come up in FB1 style play, as few ships have
Thrust-8, and a
R1L1 turn won't make much difference from a forward move. Even a R1L2
turn
won't change
things a lot. But with the Kra'Vak, a R3L3 turn at a decent speed would
be
quite an effective
manoeuvre.

I'd suggest that they can: anything than increases the KV's loegendary
manoeuverability is all
to the good.

One for the FAQ, or even errata.
