Agreed!
STARSHIP TROOPERS is a very pro-military, right wing,
pre-Vietnam
book.
THE FOREVER WAR is a very anti-military, left wing, post-Vietnam
book.
IMHO of course.
Somewhere in the middle is John Steakley's ARMOR.
