In other words - if you want a web hosting site that doesn't mangle your
page with advertising inserts, you have to pay money for it. As far as
I
know, *all* of the "free" web hosts do this sort of thing to user pages.
I pay $20 a month for my web site hosting service through Interland. In
return, I get 80 MG of storage, 2.5 GB/month transfer, unlimited free
email
boxes, email redirection, usage statistics, Frontpage support, and the
ability to load & run any CGI program I want - along with a bunch of
other
stuff. Interland is not an ISP, so these charges are in addition to my
DSL
costs through US West. However, considering that I can create and
destroy
entire webs at will, the extra cost is worth it to me.
