I agree, I just think that it is a little rough that one guy could take
out
several others with one dice roll. They need to chuck a modifier for
stacks
on.

The vaguaries of melee combat. The melee also covers grenades &
firefights
as well as actual hand-to-hand. 1 wellplaced grenade could easily have
taken out the entire attacking squad as they approach the position.
