This is why tankers do things like attach foliage and branches and scrim
and netting to tanks. It breaks up the outline and makes them harder to
see. Already there is camo netting that breaks up radar energy. How long
do you think it will be before scrim breaks up the near IR or far IR
signature of a vehicle.
You have seen pictures of the WWII era German Assault guns/mobile trees
right?
