Gundam Wing

The blurb makes it sound like it may be derived from the movies.

Actually it is a standalone series, not based on War Year (0079-80)
Timeline.
Bit cheesy and oh soo angst ridden, but then it wouldnt be Gundam
otherwise.

(I am waiting for 8th MS Squadron, which is based on War Year).
