Which is exactly what we do - we've decided that my class 4 walkers are
5m
tall (thus see over 1 contour, our hills all have 5m contours for
simplicities sake) and my size 6 walkers are 10m tall (so see over two
contours). Seems to work pretty well.
As for the bonus (i.e. hitting top not front armour if closer than x
metres), personally it doesn't make any difference anyway as the
opponent
doesn't get close enough for it to be useful/in effect (unless I'm
dead).
