Mind your acronyms there Keith. PPC can also indicate Power PC 
processors. I've generally seen handhelds like Palms and WinCE boxes 
referred to as Palm Tops. 

I'm partial to the Palm. I've a Palm V. I used to use a newton and I
like 
the similarities. The seamless integration with the macintosh on the
Palm 
is very very nice.
