for politics of all flavours taken to extremes, have a butcher's at 'The
Star Fraction', by Ken McLeod; i can't even begin to catalogue the
incredible mish-mash of political (and anti-political, post-political,
pseudo-political, etc) groups described. it's almost comical. oh, and
it's
a really good hard sf novel, too.
