My lucky day...

Subject: My lucky day...

Hello All:

Today I decided to do a little shopping, and I came out hitting
the
jackpot!

My first stop was Happy Hobby, a member of a small chain of mom
& pop
hobby shops in the Milwaukee area. I was looking leading edge Aliens
figures and the Happy Hobby stores are the best place to find OOP minis
and games. Sure enough I found a single box of alien warriors hiding at
the bottom of the minis case for $17.95. I snatched this box up and
looked some more to find my real quarry: An alien queen! No such luck
at this store.

My next stop was The Model Zone. This shop was mainly a place
were you
could pick up anime models and tapes, but last year I scored two warrior
boxes they had on clearance (only $3.00 each!) so I figured that they
just might have them. As I meandered about the store looking through
the Evangelion action figures and Gundam models, all I could find was a
"Colonists Last Stand" set. I was just about to walk out when something
caught my eye in the case... A QUEEN! It was already assembled, painted
and mounted on a wooden display stand.	It was on sale for $25. I
plopped down my check card and took my prize home to be placed on a base
suitable for wargaming.

I think that I have had a pretty good day.
