To whomever recommended the American Science and Surplus catalog:
thanks.
It arrived today, and I already have an order planned. Frankly, if
nothing
else it's worth it for the item descriptions! "We enthusiastically
recommend this 8" plastic pottery wheel for everything but making
pottery..."
Anyway, I saw two items in this catalog that would be of particular
interest to list members. The first was a kit for making a rubber model
of
Jupiter: 2 1/2" in diameter, made using some kind of "Instant Rubber".
For
$1.75, it seems like a good way to make some cheap FT terrain.
The other bit was a little weird. To quote:
"Die Cast Metal Miniatures...Kryomek/Nexus Marines, Chaos/Citadel and
Dark
Sun World are just some of the fantasy characters we will mention to wet
your appetite. We're selling them at $2.50 a package, or (5) packages
for
$2.00 each. We will choose what you get; no whining."
Not the best deal in the world perhaps, but worth considering.
