Hi, Ian! Welcome aboard.

I'm assuming you're refering to the B5 Wars range. GZG has an 'organic'
ship line called Sa'Vasku; not exactly Shadow ships, but lovely spiky
shapes that might work for you. You can see some of the ships at:

Not sure if Paul's site has piccies, and not sure of the address. Maybe
someone else can give ago on that.

I figured by 'modelling clay' you included things like Fimo and Sculpey;
everyone I've heard seems to go with Sculpey.
