I got the hardback novel at Wal-Mart for $17+.	I've seen it at other
bookstores as well. My wife said it was at Sam's for $14 or so. It's
thick, but with moderately large type.	Not a bad read.

By the way, there's probably not a large scale land battle suitable for
gaming...here are some spoilers. I walked away more ready for a Jedi
RPG session than any massed combat (and I don't do FT much). Qui-Gon
and Obi-wan were really cool in the book, IMO.

There is one major land battle fought.	Unfortunately, here's the
sequence of events:

1) Robot army sets up.
2) "Primative" army approaches.
3) Primatives get set up across a wide open field.
4) Primatives turn on shield generator "howdahs" on dinosaurs.	(?)
5) Robot arty start firing-- duh, now they can't get through the
shields.
6) Robot troops march across field, through shields, battle commenses.
