I don't think the Czechs ever had much of a navy :-)  I can also
provide a list of ship names from the Ottoman Empire (thank you Naval
Institute Press) if there's any interest. They're largely Turkish
names, but they'd be a) authentic and b) obscure; and so perfect for
sci-fi gaming.

Difficult to do if you're land-locked.

There're Turkish ships in the Jane's, too, of course, but if you want
a go at the list, knock thyself out. ;->=

As for the authentic/obscure names, I'm fairly certain that Starfire
used Arabic for the KON ships, but I never tried to find out for sure.
