Fragile hulls?
Oh look, a solar flare. Ooops, sorry sir, just lost our entire
destroyer fleet.
On a more constructive note...
'A' class DL - would be more attractive with either MD 8, or drop the
class-1s for a class-2 & 2 more PDS.
'A' class DG - this would be lucky to launch 1 SML before destruction.
SMRs are a better option for a ship this size due to a life expectancy

'A' class FS - good design for the size..

Hi ya'll. I'm proud to announce the entry of the NCS into the ship
sales market. Here are three new products available to those small
colonies out there, who find themselves in need of space combat
capability.
Comments welcome.
Model A class DL, Mass 22, fragile hull, 2 x PDS, ADFC
Model A class DG, Mass 30, fragile hull, 2 x SML w/ 3 x salvoes
Model A class FS, Mass 8, fragile hull,
