you have forgotten the BBC - with another 300 million licence payers
under
its belt, it would be able to put out some seriously heavyweight
programming. even now, the bbc produces a good fraction of the
english-speaking world's quality tv, and a state-run broadcaster would
be
instrumental in controlling the colonies ("and now on BBC America, the
"I
Love the King Show!"). american-run tv companies would have been shut
down
in/after the war, so the bbc would have had a big monopoly for a long
time. one channel and everything's on ...
