Mark,
     Find San Jose, go 8 miles north on 101, go south on Matilda, 
Matilda becomes Sunnyvale-Saratoga road (aka- Highway 9), 
Sunnyvale-Saratoga becomes De Anza Blvd.   You are then in 
Cupertino.
