     Ah yes, the dreaded pogo stick of doom.   The main problem with
this device is that the main cannon can only be fired when the shock
struts are  almost completely compressed to provide more 'virtual
mass' the the unit.   (Add to that, the fact that the drivers have a 
very difficult time completing the training, compression back injury
is the most common complaint.)
