I use the "Ship off the edge" rule in the Empress Arianna tournament for
much
the same reason. Any ship disengaging from the battle should be
considered
'lost' from a fleet morale point of view. The battlefield for the EA
tournaments
is on a much larger space (100 x 100) and therefore much higher speeds
are
possible.
It sounds like the tournament went well and was a successful format for
running
the games. Great work, Dean!
