     In WWII the German 251-16 halftrack mounted 2 1.4cm flamethrowers
with a range of 35 meters.

     lets consider the increase in range over time to be a given 
and say that 120 meters/yards is not impossible. 
(However the DFFG is more likely to be used on a small unit and 
may exist in man portable short range versions.)
