I agree, big thanks to JW and a noticeable improvement in noise.
Some people are still quoting way too much though and using the
list occasionally as an organiser forum, rather than ANNOUNCE
once and getting people to contact them directly (and then managing
a private list for follow ups).

ANNOUCE of relevant stuff for sale ONCE (with a list & prices) is ok but
the
actual transactions should be private (barring reply accidents of
course)
