Subject: ECM systems for Full Thrust
Hello,
Here is another proposal for the use of electronic systems for
Full
Thrust. A standard military sensor gets a D6, an Enhanced a D8 and a
superior a D10. For every 9 inches distance from one target to another
the
defender gets one point plus one point for each 5% of mass devoted to
stealthing. To achieve a lock-on on a target the firer must exceed the
defensive value of the enemy ship on a die roll from one of his own, one
roll per sensor. You may not fire upon an enemy ship unless you have a
successfull lock on. This means that standard military ship will have a
50% lock on roll against a normal target at 27 inches away.
The alternative is that the defender starts with 1D4 and gets a
shift up
for every 18 inches plus 10% of ships mass devoted to stealthing...
Tell me what you think,
Phil P.
