This may have been addressed before, but IDK.  Anyway, my $0.02
If you're being ultrarealistic, all combat ships are flat black.  Less
signature that way.  If that sort of (boring, IMHO) relism is not your
cup o'
joe, then I would say the sky's the limit, especially with private
commercial
ships.
