True - I've had it confirmed from several reputable scholarly-type real
heavy
books.	The whole thing is screamingly funny, unless you happened to be
one of
the bats (carnivorous mice that fly - gotta love 'em).	Now the one
story that
I want confirmed-or-denied is that late in the Ami involvement in
Vietnam &
neighboring states, around 1970-1, the CIA, or somebody, came up with
the idea
of filling a B-52s to payload capacity (40,000 kilos!) of Calgon, or
some
other detergent.  This would then by dropped on the Ho Chi Minh Trail
during
the monsoon season.  The rationale is, that since the bombed areas of
the
Trail were on dangerous, twisty mountain roads, the vehicles &/or people
would
slip in the suds & fall to their doom.	Amazing what people can come up
with
when given carte blanche...
