Yup. I think the drone option has benefits. a 'fleet' of 8 thrust 
drones acting like lower thrust starships, which run away at full 
speed as soon as SML's are launched (not that the turn sequence 
allows it) or perhaps sacrifice them, it's better than losing real 
ships, although possibly still a bit costly in points.
