Peter spake thusly upon matters weighty:

Superpowers,

Interestingly enough, there are currently a number of private
companies trying to convince the UN that private security firms are
the answer to personel shortages for peacekeeping missions (that way
if Japan or Germany want to contribute only money to a mission, the
UN could still get well trained professional soldiers). Professional
peacekeeping. Seems like a good use of mercs if the companies are
monitored.

Isn't it funny how the future of the game world might not be so far
fetched after all.... (grin)
