Last year some time I found this website:
http://www.skypoint.com/members/jbp/ijnnames.htm
that gives a listing of Japanese ship names. Some are pretty cool (Hosho
-
'how a phoenix dives'), some are kinda there (Nisshin - 'daily fort
patrol').
But my ALL time fave, and one I've used in the past, has got to be:
Mizuho - 'Juicy rice ears'
This the name of a carrier.
