Last year some time I found this website:

that gives a listing of Japanese ship names. Some are pretty cool (Hosho

'how a phoenix dives'), some are kinda there (Nisshin - 'daily fort
patrol').

But my ALL time fave, and one I've used in the past, has got to be:

    Mizuho - 'Juicy rice ears'

This the name of a carrier.
