Ammo supply in DS and SG

Has any one thought of any decent guidlines for ammo loads for heavy
weapons in DS or SG. I'm wondering is the basic load for a weapon
included
in the spaces used.  If so how much more space is needed for additonal
ammo?  I've got some ideas (lifted from a number of rules sets) if
anyone
is interested.
