OTOH I'm a published filker myself, though the last time I actually sang
(and composed on the spot) was at the Worldcon at Den Haag (To the tune
of Ilkley Moor Bar t'At).

Hmmm... there should be an FT filk. NSU...ESU... Maybe "Jingle Bells" as
a tune...
