Actually, we got photo radar in the province about 3 years ago. The
new, conservative government came in and did away with them 6 months
later. While I was no fan of them, I DID notice a difference in speed
along Highway 401 from an average of about 130 km/hr to about 110
km/hr. The traffic was far less frantic, and I suspect safer.
