I Think that these are reprint model kits ...

I seem to have a few just like those in a toy box up in the attic.

go figure.

 There are few other star ship types models avalible besides Robotech. 
I
picked up some of the old Captain Harlock ship.

I'll see if I can't find out where they got them.
