	Not just in the movies, normal training is remove the casualty
from the source of danger, then treat the wound. This is taught in both
civvie courses like St John's as well as military first aid. It does
make sense too if you think about it; your mate goes down as you are
crossing a track so do you sit in the middle of the open ground applying
the pressure bandage or drag him into the ditch on the side of the road
popping smoke for cover first?
