I would go so far as to say that Stargrunt, Kryomek, then GW are from 
shortest to tallest, and the Stargrunt minis look to have maybe 1/4 the 
metal in them as a GW model of the same subject matter.  I think the
torso 
of a GW Space Marine hero has almost as much metal as a single Stargrunt
PA 
trooper.

I think some of the Leading Edge models might be close in scale to
Stargrunt.

But, I have got to credit Jon; his tips for playing with disparate
figure 
scales work.
