Again, I must beg of you folks...

PLEASE REPLY TO INDIVIDUALS WHEN IT IS ONLY OF INTEREST TO THAT
INDIVIDUAL.

REPLY TO THE LIST WHEN IT IS OF INTEREST TO SOME REASONABLY LARGE SUBSET
OF THE LIST.

I hate to be an asshole, but I didn't subscribe to this list to see
some-
thing like 10 f-ing posts talking about the G.D. metric system in
England. 
I understand the curiosty of the first poster. I understand a couple of 
replies, but c'mon guys. How about something on-topic? This is
ridiculous.
