Another triumph for SGII! if you read accounts of infantry actions
against
Panthers and Tigers in Western Europe during WWII, the grunts with
bazooka's
and PIAT's did that a lot. It was much more common to immobilize a tank
than
to knock it out completely. The crew could then either sit there and
wait
for Tank Destroyers, more rockets, or the ever present American
artillery to
finally blow them up, or they could decide to be elsewhere.
