Most of the follow-up stories have been dealing with plot more than
action.
The two-part season finale is a great episode, though, but not for the
same
reasons. It cleans up a couple of plot threads from two years ago and
gives
you far more insight into what's been happening and what's coming. From
a
story point of view, it's far better than the episode you've just seen
(to
be honest, that episode was an "eye-candy" combat episode with no
pretentions at anything else, and I still loved it, but there wasn't
much of
a plot to it).

If the season finale is anything to go by, the first couple of episodes
in
the 4th season will be great.

JMS, in a message on CI$ two years ago, mentioned that B5 was going to
have
a small number of "kicker" episodes in the first season and build up so
that
the fourth and fifth seasons are mostly "kickers" (kicker is my term; I
forget the one he used). I think we're seeing where he's leading.
