Not wishing to sound sneering but the primary explanative link to this
page uses the terms "zero gee" and "platform mach number". The second
alone would ensure this would *not* make it into a credible journal.

What they do is hand-waving and "but that'll be fixed by then" arguments.
It's plain daft. We can launch for about £10 per kg at present, why would
this be a good idea (if it's even feasible)?
