I think it's very likely that it can't be simulated in Orbiter without
substantial changes. Visibility concerns are the main problem - either
you have one huge object for the spine of the thing, in which case the
"visible size" is very large and the system's slowed down, or you have
lots of small objects, in which case the system's slowed down...
