RE: Problems with win2k

Yep McDope, that did the trick.  Well blast the darn Anti-Aliasing Switch!  Thank you very much.  A very happy space camper.  Thank you to all who replied to my cry for help.  Still got the Memory Dump errors when I select some of the scenarios tho L  Oh well one outa two aint bad.  Thanks once again.

Disable the antialiasing settings (in the Detonator driver control panel, not in Orbiter) and the HUD will work fine again. I thought that was fixed in 41.09 or at least so it seems in the 41.09 version for Win98

McDope

Roberto I have this exact same problem with Windows XP Pro, I am running an AMD 1 Gig in a A7V Motherboard with 512mb Memory and a GEForce 2 MMX Graphics Card and I cannot get the HUD to display and the Yellow Information Writing at the top of the in game screen Flashes and flickers.  The PC is set up perfect, I run MS Flight Sim 2002 with all the Graphics Details etc set to max and I do not have a problem, only the new Orbiter is messing me about.  If anyone has any ideas at all on a possible fix for this I would be very grateful.

PS the Drivers I am using are the Latest NVidea 411.09.  I thought my old drivers were not upto punching Orbiter around for some reason so updated.  No effect.

Regards and Seasons Greetings to all,
