I've been thinking along the same lines myself - there's a definite need for
a 'futuristic' booster/launcher and fuel transfer MFD. In particular need is
the Shuttle-A, which currently can just about make LEO before running out of
juice. It's definitely possible to do the MFD. It's just fiddly, as someone
already said.

May I make one plea - let's try and get some consistency in our proposed
world of the future. Let's take the deltaglider as a guide - no ISP's
greater than 4x10^4. Shuttle-A is 3x10^4, for example.
