No it is very much alive. He is working on the next version as evidenced by the galley shots. The features needing to be added are becoming more complicated between each version thus stretching it out. In addition he is a working professor and has an extensive travel scheldule.

I went to the Orbiter website, and think he has given up on it. Been no updates since April, and think that's why the forum is not going anymore.
