You most likely _did_ sign up for the list, but thought it was something else (a way for Martin to alert us to new updates) from the name "Orbiter Mailing List". Not quite what it sounds like, is it? ;)

That happened to me, too, but I decided to keep getting it since I don't visit the forum.
