Yes, but... this doesn't seem to work. I've just done this, and all the
vertex texture coordinates came out as 0,1, 1,0 and so on... and
in-simulation, it looks as if I have just one big solar panel, not an
array of the things. (I'm using solar3s.dds.)

I'm almost certainly getting something wrong in 3dsmax. Last time I was
seriously involved in modelling, everyone knew that texture-mapping
would never take off because computes wouldn't be powerful enough. :-)
