Landing bug with multiple stations?
I've found what I think may be a bug in Orbiter. It's hard to reproduce
quickly, though, so I thought I'd mention it here and see if anyone else
has spotted it.
The effect of the bug is that, once one has touched the ground when
landing at a surface base, the ship drifts parallel to the ground rather
than locking down to the pad. A quicksave at this point results in a
file with no ship position information.
This _seems_ only to happen when I've added the three extra stations
I've designed - I'm wondering whether it's a memory exhaustion problem.
It does only happen when one's been flying for a while - taking off and
landing immediately works fine.
An unrelated problem: does anyone have a space station mesh file with
working transparency I could take a look at? I'm working on an O'Neill
Island Three station design - the classic "sunflower" cylinder with
mirrors - but the relevant sections don't end up transparent.
